General Guidelines to the Students :
As this school lays great emphasis on discipline – slackness, disobedience and disregard of the rules will not be tolerated. Any negligence of good manners, any work or action likely to lower the image of the school is regarded as a breach of school discipline: The school reserves the right to expel students whose diligence or progress in studies is considered unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students. Immorality, insubordination or contempt of authority and breaking bounds and causing damage to school property are always sufficient reasons for suitable action to be taken immediately.
75% attendance is compulsory for all students failing which he/she may not be eligible for promotion, if applicable. The percentage may be relaxed on medical grounds or any other unavoidable emergency circumstances.
Irregular attendance, unjustified or unexplained absence, habitual late coming, disobedience or objectionable behavior of any kind may result in the removal of the child from the school.
Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 5 consecutive days may render the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.
School property willfully damaged or destroyed will be required to be made good by the student or the student concerned. In addition, a heavy fine maybe imposed.
Strict action will be taken against students using unfair means in examination.
No leave of absence is granted except on an application from parents or guardians for plausible reasons only.
A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease should produce a doctor’s certificate, permitting him/her to attend the school.
School authorities may expel a student on any of the following grounds:
Constant weakness in studies
Indifference to the school activities.
Moral breach considered serious by school authorities
Failing for two consecutive times in the same class.
Students are advised not to carry any valuable articles for e.g. mobile phones expensive watches, fountain pens, transistors, electronic gadgets, cameras, calculators or jewellery to school. In case of loss of valuables or other articles, the authorities will try their best to trace out the items but shall not undertake any responsibility for the loss.
It is compulsory for all students to attend school on the first day of the beginning of a semester or after each vacation, and the last day before the end of a semester / beginning of a vacation, otherwise strict action will be taken by the school authority.
